Job Overview:
Join our team as a Director of Rehabilitation at Harborview Health Center West Altamonte. We are looking for a dedicated professional RPT, OTR, SLP, or PTA to lead our rehabilitation department and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will play a key role in overseeing clinic operations and managing the rehabilitation team.
Duties:
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of patients
- Coordinate and supervise therapy services provided by physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare laws
- Manage clinic operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and fiscal management
- Oversee medical office management tasks related to rehabilitation services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care outcomes
- Utilize NetHealth and PCC for efficient documentation and record-keeping
- Provide leadership in healthcare management practices to enhance patient care delivery
- Supervise office management functions within the rehabilitation department
- Utilize nursing skills to support the rehabilitation team as needed
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Clinic management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong background in medical office management
- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Demonstrated fiscal management skills within a healthcare environment
- Previous experience in healthcare management roles
- Knowledge of medical management principles and best practices
