What's the position?
We are looking for a new team member to join revenue accounting who will be responsible for recording various revenue transactions, reconciling accounts such as receivables and due to customers, and participating in the month end close. The role has a mostly remote schedule, to include some scheduled visits to the office.
Principle Responsibilities:

• Partner with the revenue, regulatory, accounting, and treasury teams to reconcile accounts such as due from processors and due to customers.
• Perform month-end closing procedures, including recording journal entries and creating supporting schedules, as assigned.
• Work within a team that supports revenue, accounts receivable, cost of sales, prepaids, cash, intercompany, and rewards programs.
• Reconcile certain cash accounts and book required adjustments.
• Answer queries regarding gaming accounting activities and balances.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with the development of scalable accounting processes.
• Comply with established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Analyze variances to identify and explain trends for month end closing.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures as assigned.
• Provide support for external audits related to specific areas of responsibility.
• Support teamwork and cooperation within the accounting team
• Special projects as required.

What are we looking for?

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline required.

• Background in revenue accounting, ASC 606, and accounts receivable.
• Two to four years' experience in a large organization with a high volume of transactions.
• Gaming industry, digital company, or e-commerce experience required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Capable of working independently and in a team setting, while balancing multiple projects at any given time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Experience working with Blackline and/or Netsuite is highly preferred.
