SUMMARY OF POSITION: The General Manager is accountablefor the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that Team Membersare hospitality focused, people focused and are performing their job duties andmeeting expectations in all areas of their job description. The General Manager reports to the DistrictManager for the area and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and TeamMembers. The General Manager operates the restaurant consistent with, andsupportive of, the business plan set forth for their restaurant, whiledisplaying the Capstone Restaurant Group values: People, Hospitality, and Integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Recruit and hirestaff, as well as maintain a bench for future growth.

· Ensure allmarketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menuboard elements.

· Ensure restaurantis staffed properly and Team Members are properly trained to do their jobsthrough effective use of training programs.

· Ensure therestaurant is open and fully operational during Business Hours as defined bythe District Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Operating Partner.

· Provide leadershipby creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitmentto company objectives.

· Ensure thatcorrect inventory levels and all equipment is maintained in excellent conditionthrough the use of approved vendors.

· Set an example bymaintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in theperformance of all phases of restaurant operations and technology.

· Supervise inaccordance with established performance and operating policies as set out inthe operations standards manual.

· Work with, develop,and motivate, Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform upto their highest possible level of ability.

· Review preliminaryP/L’s and forward all questions to your District Manager.

· Recognize andadhere to all HR, sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures toprovide a safe and compliant environment for all.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Stand for longperiods of time.

· Work around hightemperatures.

· Work around othersin close quarters.

· Able to lift 50pounds comfortably.

· Work with variouscleaning products.

· Perform job at a continuoushigh pace, under pressure, while maintaining quality and speed standards.

EXPERIENCE:

· 3-5 yearsmanagement experience in a quick service/fast food dining concept.

· Financial/Analyticalaptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

· Valid driver’slicense.

· Excellentcommunication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Ability to workflexible hours and shifts to ensure all essential duties are successfullycompleted.

· Ability to operateand use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.

· Ability toeffectively make decisions under pressure, while delegating tasksappropriately.

· Strong conflictresolution skills.

· High sense ofurgency.

· Self-motivated.

· Excellentorganizational, planning and time management skills.
