The primary teaching responsibility of this fourth-grade position is teaching math to three sections of fourth grade. The other two homeroom teachers are responsible for English/language arts and social studies and spelling. In addition to teaching the math classes, this position includes a homeroom group with associated responsibilities.

This is a full-time position beginning no earlier than August 5, 2024. The position offers applicable full-time benefits which may include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance.

The position may require some limited pre-work during the summer in July with co-teachers and our Directors of Teaching & Learning and Lower School.

Qualifications/Experience

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; current or transferable teacher certification in the State of Tennessee

Preference: Master’s degree and two-years’ experience in an elementary school position
