Job DescriptionTitle: Product Information Manager
Reports To: Director, Marketing and Procurement
Summary:Responsible for the collection, organization, and overall maintenance of product information. Also gather product data and ensure its accuracy and consistency across multiple products and categories.
Responsibilities:Manage the product page structure and ensure it is consistent and meaningful across product categories
Work with business partners to gather accurate product information
Take input from multiple internal partners, both technical and business, to identify needs and priorities, and clarify product requirements and their impact
Identify compelling opportunities for improvement and competitive differentiation
Plan, track progress, and share updates with the company on a regular basis
Develop and implement efficient processes for product creation and updating. Identify, Implement, process improvements, and drive quantifiable results
Research of solutions to automate product information flows
Solve a variety of complex system-related problems in addition to helping with the design or implementation of such systems
In the medium term, support the implementation and integration of a PIM solution and the migration of product data
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills and Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience in process flow mapping to document current and future processes
Ability to understand technology as it relates to the business
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage working relationships
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including the ability to communicate with technology-related information and clearly detail implementation processes
Experience in the wholesale\distribution industry is an asset
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner/Manager, or PIM Specialist in an eCommerce, retail, or distribution/manufacturing environment
