THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a member of an integrated marketing communications team, the graphic designer is responsible for the visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. The graphic designer will be able to take concepts or ideas and create a visual representation, in both print and electronic media.

LOCATION:

Home Office with Hybrid Benefits with occasional travel to offsite locations and other offices

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate with multiple teams/departments to develop dynamic visual materials both internal and external audiences.
  • Work on a wide range of projects using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs to support the business. Projects may include printed documents, flyers, logo development, photo manipulation, presentations, web pages, and various other marketing materials.
  • Translate strategic direction and ideas into high-quality design with clear messaging while adhering to an established brand identity.
  • Brainstorm with marketing team to develop creative solutions for complex projects.
  • Use trend intelligence and knowledge of current markets when designing and executing specific projects.
  • Work independently and, as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include multiple projects.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or web design and 3 – 5 years of experience in a professional graphic design position.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat on Windows-based computer. Use of motion graphics programs such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, and Audition a plus. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress. Proficient with the entire Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to develop user-friendly interfaces and/or email messaging using Adobe Dreamweaver.
  • Proficient in creating balanced and engaging compositions, using design and typography principles.
  • Knowledge of the pre-press processes and working with print vendors to ensure high-quality print materials. A strong portfolio highlighting work in print and digital design, visual/interactive/motion design, infographics, and photography.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills and the ability to work well with people from many disciplines with varying degrees of business and technical experience. Strong organization skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure designs are error-free and polished.
