As HARIBO continues to grow, we are adding the Demand Planning Manager to our corporate office team. The Demand Planning Manager will own the long-term demand planning process for finished goods and lead demand planning reviews as part of the S&OP process. Reporting up to the Sr. Director of Revenue Management, Sales, & Demand Planning, the Demand Planning Manager role will oversee daily operations of the Demand Planning function for HARIBO of America, leading a small and lean Demand Planning team, and will work very closely with leaders in the Sales/Business Development teams throughout the HARIBO of America organization. Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the Demand Planning Manager responsibilities include sales forecasting, analyzing historical sales data and current market conditions, assess the current situation monthly and revise forecasts, manage gaps in forecasting by identifying opportunities and partnering with our Sales organization and Supply Chain teams, lead Demand Planning reviews and reporting, present to senior leaders within HARIBO, and oversee the daily operations of the Demand Planning function within HARIBO of America. Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the Demand Planning function within HARIBO of America Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends, consumption patterns, and competitive activities and subsequently implement solutions to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting Lead the demand review as a key step of the Sales and Operations Planning ( S & OP ) at HARIBO of America Lead and coordinate the sales plan process for both the annual operating plan and quarterly targets. Ensure that customer targets are in line with business expectations and customer’s strategy Recommend and implement solutions to improve demand forecasting accuracy Identify opportunities and gaps in demand planning forecasts and partner with internal teams including our Sales/Business Development teams and Supply Chain team Qualifications: 7 years of business experience with financial analysis and data management Experience using Demand Planning and/or Sales forecasting technology tools and techniques Demonstrateadvanced skills within Microsoft Excel Experience utilizing sales forecasting systems and software Experience identifying opportunities and gaps in demand planning forecasts and partnering with internal teams including our Sales/Business Development teams and Supply Chain team Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Supply Chain, or related field Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience specifically with the CPG, Consumer Packaged Goods industrywithin Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Finance roles Prior experience with SAP helpful but not required Strong verbal and written communication, ability to present to leaders across the organization Experience with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally Master’s Degree / MBA The Happy World of HARIBO is more than a business; we’re family.
