Assistant Director ofNursing Services (ADNS) Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services inday-to-day administrative functions
• Make written or oralreports to necessary personnel
• Monitor and maintainthe infection control procedures and policies of the facility
• Participate in thedeveloping, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff development classes,training, and orientation
• Review and revise careplans and assessments
• Make rounds of thenursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel areperforming their work duties
• Monitor absenteeism tomaintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel
• Maintain a liaisonwith the residents, their families, support departments, etc.

Assistant Director ofNursing Services Requirements

• Valid NYS RN license
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices,procedures, and regulations that pertain to long-term care
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

• Previous experience inlong-term care
• Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
