Harlow's Casino Resort & Spa is Hiring a Food and Beverage Manager Near Greenville, MS

Responsibility will include the following and other duties deem necessary by management

  • Interview, hire, train, and orient new team members to their jobs.
  • Evaluate and oversee job performance.
  • Responsible for assisting team members with goal setting and development plans.
  • Conduct group and individual training as to Policies and Procedures, equipment, and area setup.
  • Meet labor objectives while achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Must be able to write and cost out a department schedule.
  • Prepare documentation for labor cost when necessary.
  • Understand the food costing program and work to ensure goals are met.
  • Order supplies and maintains par stock and inventory control.
  • Understand and follow all Policies and Procedures dictated by the administration and suggest and initiate necessary changes and improvements.
  • Act in relation to team members, guests, and/or the general public in a manner consistent with the best interests of the restaurant and beverage service.
  • Insure team member safety by providing a clean, safe, healthy environment.
  • Must be an expert on guest satisfaction and guest recovery.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of entire facility.
  • Responsible for promoting and encouraging a fun environment.
  • Must be able to efficiently use the Point of Sale and back office computer system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years' experience in food service with a minimum of 1 year in supervision in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Complete understanding of labor costs and scheduling
  • Able to work varied shifts and hours
  • Able to delegate tasks to Food & Beverage Supervisors
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience

Required
  • 1 year(s): Experience in food service supervision in a high-volume restaurant
  • 2 - 5 years: Experience in food service

Education

Required
  • High School or better

Licenses & Certifications

  • Food Safe/Safe Serve Mgr
  • TIPS
