**Makes sure the ironing equipment is turned on at the beginning of shift to assure proper operating results.**
Keeps ironing equipment maintained according to operating instructions.
Sort bed linens and towels according to color and fabric guidelines, pre-treat any stains, and wash according to washing instructions.
Identifies any items for re-wash.
Folds, sort and store in appropriate place.
Keeps work area clean.
**Reports any equipment malfunctions to supervisor.**
