GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports digital marketing campaigns and tactics. They focus on executing tasks across various channels to achieve sales and marketing goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in implementing digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, SEO, and PPC
  • Assists in weekly sales plan and other digital marketing tasks
  • Processes, reviews, and edits digital sales plan content to optimize performance
  • Monitors campaign performance metrics to identify trends and insights
  • Coordinates with the design and content teams to deliver marketing materials
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with designers to create engaging graphics
  • Updates and maintains the company's website
  • Schedules content and communication
  • Makes edits to digital assets as needed
  • Support the digital marketing team in daily tasks and projects as needed
  • Supports internal customers by processing website content requests
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
  • Overcomes obstacles to ensure the final product is accurate, high quality, within budget and delivered on time
  • Understands that the first customer marketed should be the internal customer, our associates
  • Collaborates with internal departments, participating in brainstorming sessions and making innovative suggestions
  • Is a positive influence who implements and promotes change
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with store directors and sales directors
  • Ensures the highest quality of marketing products and services
  • Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
  • Communicates openly and frequently with the vice president of marketing, digital marketing manager, and other team members
  • Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Sets a professional and positive example to others
  • Assists as needed to ensure the success of the company as a whole
  • Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • Builds the Harmons brand and represents the voice of the customer

MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:

A 4-year degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Marketing experience preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, AdWords, and social media management tools
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must have the ability to advocate, analyze and understand technology to be effective personally and have an impact on business performance
  • Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons’ mission and commitment to working collaboratively
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability to handle conflict appropriately and professionally
  • Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of the team

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable office environment. Also requires sitting for long periods. This position may require standing, walking and bending throughout the day and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
