$18.17 - $19.67 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to grow sales and provide an educational experience for our customers through the coordination of in store sampling and sales events. This person will educate our customers about a wide range of foods, especially Harmons’ signature products. This person will have a passion for food. This person will be preparing foods for sampling, doing demonstrations for customers, preparing food for special store events, providing information for social media marketing including Instagram, train new Foodies, assist with the planning, coordination and execution of events, and provide exceptional customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products and services prepared and provided by FoodiesConfirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad itemsEnsures the Foodie carts and work areas are cleaned and sanitized daily and meet the company standards for appearanceDelivers excellent customer service to all customersAssists the People Support Manager with the teach to taste program at store levelResearches and creates recipes for demonstrating in-storeSamples a wide variety of foods to customersEducates customers about food, preparation, health benefits, etc. with special emphasis on Harmons’ signature productsPreparing foods and information for FoodiesAssists with the planning, organization, and execution of sales eventsWorks closely with the store management team to coordinate events and samplingProvides sales goal projections and outcome resultsProvides store specific information for social media including maintaining store’s Instagram accountSetup, food preparation, and cleanup for special store eventsEnsures that Foodie carts are well-stocked and maintainedCommunicates openly and frequently with the Store DirectorResponsible for taking inventory and ordering for Foodie suppliesTrains FoodiesWrites the Foodie scheduleTeaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the teamProvides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvementAssists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a wholeMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Consistent and daily interaction with store associatesConsistent and daily interaction with customersTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
