Title: Product Owner

Location: Houston, TX 77077 - Onsite 4 days per week.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of analytic solutions across the business. This role involves translating innovative ideas into practical solutions using sophisticated analytical techniques such as machine learning, optimization, and cluster analysis. Our ideal candidate would be skilled in leading cross-functional teams and have experience with previous technical rollouts.

Role Description:

• Lead a team in data and analytics product development by defining roadmaps, prioritizing features, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful launches.
• Advise business leaders on innovative data and analytics solutions to address business challenges.
• Collaborate with Business Product Owners (BPO) to translate business vision into technical strategy and design.
• Manage the product backlog with BPO, prioritizing features based on business needs, technology, and feasibility.
• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring team alignment on requirements.
• Work with the Scrum Master and development team to plan and prioritize releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee the delivery process with the data and analytics development team to meet defined requirements and user stories.
• Define user acceptance criteria and testing procedures with BPO; establish technical testing strategies with the technical team.
• Coordinate technical roll-out, working with IT, business, and support teams, and provide content for business deployment.
• Translate technical details for non-technical audiences and support BPO in stakeholder communication.
• Define and track product performance metrics, and monitor user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Organize and lead meetings for collaboration, process implementation, status reporting, and resource and budget management.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, etc.), Master's is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience working on analytical software development projects.
• Extensive experience working as a Product Owner, PM, Solution Architect, Analyst, or similar roles within similar environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Agile methodology required.
• Hands-on data and analytics technology experience i.e., SQL, Python, PySpark, and other ML -driven products, with knowledge of cloud-based architectures like AWS.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity as this position may have direct reports depending on project needs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders and drive a data-driven culture.
• Experience within the Automotive industry is a huge plus!
