Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Houston, TX 77077 - Onsite 4 days per week.

Overview of Role:

As a Project Manager in our Data & Analytics team, you will lead challenging projects that drive business transformation. We seek a dynamic individual with expertise in project management and Data Analytics. You will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant achievement of project milestones.

Role Description:

• Assist the Product Delivery Lead in managing AI/ML projects from start to finish.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans.
• Work with the Product Owner to document requirements and establish timelines.
• Allocate resources and ensure efficient team operations.
• Lead Scrum/planning meetings to track progress, and address risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Monitor progress, track key metrics, and report status to stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and resources to meet financial objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for alignment and smooth execution.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
• Provide leadership and mentorship in Project Management practices.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master with experience implementing Gen AI or ML projects.
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and generative AI concepts.
• Experience managing projects involving AI/ML development, deployment, and integration.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical teammates and create a positive environment.
• Experience with various project management tools and software.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Project management certifications like Agile or SAFe are a big plus!
