Job Title: Project Engineer(Structural Engineer) - Bridge Engineering

Location: Glastonbury, CT

Overview: Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with a passion for bridge engineering? Do you hold a PE license in Connecticut or New York State? If you have 4-9 years of experience and are ready to take the lead in launching a new office for a premier engineering consultancy, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring all project deliverables meet high standards of quality and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Conduct structural analyses and design for bridge projects.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on bridge projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Connecticut or New York State.
  • Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
