Harps Tarps is Hiring a Controller Near Mountain, GA
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end closings and Year-end
- Perform cost accounting functions
- Analyze & Report Financial Data
- Cost Accounting
- Assist with or Execute negotiations with outside vendors as required (e.g. Annual Insurance renewals, et al)
- Improve current methods as directed
- Implement new technologies as directed
- Oversee and participate in HR functions
- Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial status
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Interface with Legal counsel as required
- Interface with external CPA firm as required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting a must
- Prior Month End Close
- Prior Bank Reconciliations
- MBA a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or NAV experience a plus
- Firm grasp on basic accounting principles
- Tax knowledge
- Cost Accounting knowledge
- Basic HR guidelines & compliance
- Good working knowledge of computers
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be able to manage time and complete projects
- Capable of critical analysis and decision making
