• Assist in the routine maintenance and any necessary repairs of the Supermaxx soil blending line.
• Assist in the routine maintenance and any necessary repairs of all Production Facilities.
• Assist in the routine maintenance and any necessary repairs of all Production Equipment.
• Assist the Maintenance Mechanic to schedule and document all routine maintenance needed and completed.
• Assist equipment operators as needed to complete daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment and vehicles.
• Schedule and direct all maintenance work and repairs in the absence of the Maintenance Mechanic.
• Basic building and grounds maintenance.
• Assist other production employees as needed to maintain production.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, warehouse, and shop area.
• Maintain valid licenses, certifications, and/or permits required to perform responsibilities.
• Help to ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances affecting this position.
• Help to ensure compliance with all Company policies and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Five years of equipment maintenance experience preferred.

• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

• Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and changing situations.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Basic proficiencies in the following areas preferred:

• Mobility of arms – Must be able to reach and use arms to manipulate small objects.
• Mobility to move around inside the plant, stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

• This position will require regular weekend work as necessary to complete essential functions.
• Work is routinely performed in a general production environment on a concrete surface, with frequent exposure to both the internal and external environment.
• Frequent exposure to severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.
• Frequent exposure to dust, and noise levels that exceed a normal threshold.

• Must wear steel-toed boots.
• Recommended (area specific): Safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, back brace, and safety suit. Will be provided by Harrell’s upon request.
• Personal Protective Equipment must be worn in accordance with SDS recommendations.
