Our team crafted this dream into reality. Today, Harrington Housing offers a unique and upscale co-living experience in the hub of major cities around the world all at less than the market rate.
The ideal candidate will be able to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs in Austin. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have years of previous experience in related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Engagement
- Carry out operational policies and procedures set by city/regional manager to optimize efficiency and resident well-being
- Promote and protect the Harrington Housing brand
- Oversees different buildings in requiring mobility, with no permanent office.
2. Resident Engagement:
- Ensuring that rooms and units are kept in a clean and deficiency free condition, taking steps to rectify if not so
- Monitor and enhance resident satisfaction, promptly addressing concerns and ensuring a positive living experience.
- Visiting properties and quality control of the apartments.
_ 3. Property Management:_
- Ensure regulatory, compliance, and legal rules are followed.
- Relationships with management, landlords, and partner schools and crisis management.
- Develop and build positive relationships with residents, tenants, and guests.
- Communicate with reception services to coordinate and plan the allocation of accommodation.
- Get involved in the building and refurbishment of residential accommodation.
_ 4. Collaboration:_
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of company strategies.
- Effective coordination and good communication with the booking, finance, support and legal departments.
_ 5. Compliance and Safety:_
- Inspect the accommodation to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met, carrying out risk assessments as necessary.
- Make sure adequate security for the building is provided.
- Ensure the smooth running of accommodation facilities, including the safety and wellbeing of guests, tenants, and residents.
_ 6. Leasing & Room Renting_
- Help ensure the successful and timely leasing of all available rooms in your region, working towards Harrington’s target of 100% occupancy
- Assist with lead generation efforts on Facebook Marketplace, schedule and conduct showings and follow ups, follow the direction of the city manager to maintain high occupancy levels
- Reporting responsibilities on showings completed, follow ups sent, feedback received, and bookings achieved to manager
7. Unit Set-up & Install:
- Work alongside set-up team and manager to complete the set-up on newly onboarded units
- Meet deadline and targets set by manager for completion of the unit install
- Work with manager to manage inventory levels of furniture pieces, and complete online/in store orders of necessary items to complete set-up
- Coordinate with utility company, internet companies, banks, and internal teams to complete administrative onboarding of new units
