Harrington Interactive Media is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Franklin, TN

Position Overview 

As a growing company, we are looking for a full-time operations manager who is responsible for the efficient execution of all back office functions of the firm. This includes soliciting bids for new print runs, submitting finished covers and files to printers, and managing inventory. They manage all print on demand, audio, and eBook vendors. They are also the in-house expert for outsourced digital tools, websites, and programs. Additionally, they manage the accounts payable flow, annual royalty flow, tax processes, budget-keeping, and forecasting, seeking efficiency for all areas under their supervision. This person also serves as the voice of finance in the acquisitions process, and is the main point of contact for freelancers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with vendors, customers, and clients
  • Reporting on sales, marketing, inventory, and other company data
  • Handling company financial, operations, and legal documents and processes
  • Submitting files and orders to vendors to keep printing and inventory stock running efficiently
  • Managing staff, meetings, payroll, HR, budget, and company systems
  • Working on the administrative side with contractor workers: managing hiring, onboarding, scheduling, logistics, work-for-hire contracts, and payments
  • Creating project P&Ls, soliciting bids for print runs, and managing printing
  • Running point, deploying a team consisting of the marketing manager, creative director, and web developer, to build and maintain company websites to ensure they are running optimally
  • Managing the president’s sales leads, meetings, and travel

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Tools

  • Operates well in fast-paced environment, handling with a variety of tasks simultaneously
  • Able to use QuickBooks Online for essential task such as categorizing transactions, sending invoices, and running reports
  • Excellent research skills to explore new technology, methods, or information
  • Can manage scheduling, planning, and project management softwares

Education and Experience

  • Years professional experience in operations or executive administration: 3 years
  • History of working remotely
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000–$72,000
  • SIMPLE IRA: matching 3% contribution after one year of employment
  • Generous paid time off
