We are a law firm in the San Marco area, near downtown Jacksonville. Our firm has 12 attorneys, and you will work directly with 1-2 attorneys on all of their client's matters. We have been in the area for 30 years and have a positive, collaborative work culture. The office has free parking, an employee lounge located in the building with tables, a TV , couch, and massage chair. We dress down every Friday, and the office closes at 4:30 every Friday.

Legal Assistant/Paralegal
We are looking for a full time, experienced legal assistant/paralegal who wants to work closely with their attorneys in managing their cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to lawyer with their cases
• Handle communication with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, etc.
• Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
• Answer and direct phone calls

Skills

• 2-5 years working experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.
• 2-5 years experience with Civil or Commercial Litigation Experience
• Benefit to have probate experience, but not required.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in English
• Excellent secretarial and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
