Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient preparation, staging, loading and unloading of trucks for the shipping and receiving of product and raw materials. Performs daily cycle counts of inventory to maintain accuracy

Responsibilities:

• Generates the pick list for the packaging warehouse each morning.
• Accurately inputs cycle counts into the MRR system to ensure inventory integrity and notifies Supervisor/accounting of all large discrepancies.
• Reviews discrepancies to ensure counts are correct and completes recounts if necessary.
• Coordinates additional count checks with receiving warehouse if discrepancies are large.
• Assists with put away on 3rd shift.
• Picks finished goods for shipment to customer.
• Verifies accuracy of all shipments to customer.
• Makes sure all trucks are loaded/unloaded safely & correctly. Verifies all finished goods product received from production.
• Fills out picking tickets & other shipping paperwork. Uses scanners for put away, loading, cycle counts, picking & inventory.
• Processes returns to the packaging warehouse & processes material disposition records (MDR's). Receives in cartons delivered from the supplier.
• Keeps the Packaging material area clean and organized.
• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks and follows all safety rules.
• Must have computer and data entry experience.
• Interacts with Customers and vendors daily.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma/GED required.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience with inventory control and cycle counting preferred.
• Must be forklift qualified and maintain qualifications.

SKILLS

• Must have good communication skills (both reading and writing in English).
• Must have manual dexterity.
• Must work safely and follow all rules and regulations.
• Must have experience working with finished goods.
• Must have good mathematical ability. Must be able to pass basic math and reading test.
• Must be able to use electronic inventory equipment. (iMake & MAS 500) Must have good computer skills.
• Must be flexible to work in other areas and work overtime and on weekends, if required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
