Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the deli, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow
- Manage and train deli staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments, such as catering or banquet, to coordinate events or special promotions
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as assistant manager or deli supervisor
- Strong knowledge of food production and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with bartending and coffee service is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry is preferred
