SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for internal customer service for Service Department, Sales Department and Controls Department in regard to parts. Responsible for external customer sales and service processing customer orders, vendor sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, warranty & warehouse.

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working safely is our company’s number one business objective.   • Greet customers and vendors, answer incoming calls, responding to all inquiries as presented, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Provide customers with assistance and information regarding parts, price and availability. Work with team members and associates as other locations to provide the best possible customer service.
  • Order parts from Daikin as well as other sources, arrange shipping to meet customer needs. Deliver parts for Harrison Energy Partners orders as needed.
  • Place and bill orders daily, follow up to ensure shipment.
  • Complete warranties daily. Submit warranty claims in a timely fashion. Label all incoming warranty parts and forms.
  • Review product materials to ensure product knowledge.
  • Back up support for Outside Sales team. Fill in for other team members at all locations when needed.
  • Maintain store and work area, receive and stock merchandise as necessary.
  • Assist in warehouse if needed. Pull orders and load trucks at Warehouse for Harrison Energy Partners orders, fill in as requested for other orders.
  • Increase knowledge base regarding products.
  • Provide Harrison Energy Partners with assistance and information regarding parts, price and availability. Order parts and arrange shipping to meet customer needs.
  • Load, deliver and set up portable air cooling units.
  • Provide product technical support as requested for the entire Parts Department.
  • Perform miscellaneous equipment and facility repairs as needed.
  • Responsible for internal customer service for Harrison Energy Partners Service Department, Sales Department and Controls Department to regard to parts.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Assist with inventory counting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 10 years parts sales experience. HVAC, electrical knowledge or work related experience preferred. Intermediate computer skills required.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

State driver’s license, auto insurance, auto registration, acceptable driving record.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must possess the ability to communicate will all levels of the organization; as well as, external vendors, business contacts, existing customers and potential customers.
