Our client is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist. This is a temporary position**Manage accounts receivable billing and collection of payments for all designated payers at designated locations, making sure payments are reconciled in a timely and accurate manner.Responsible for processing and posting incoming payments, reconciling receipts, and adjusting patient accounts.Resolves denials, produces secondary claims, and appeals against payment discrepancies.Conducts 835 electronic payment matching. Resolves payments with missing EOB.Contact patients, insurance, or third-party administrators when clarification of information is needed to successfully post payment.High school diplomaExperience posting payments required.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage time effectively.*** $23.00 per hour
