Plan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of each student. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity level and interest of the student providing order in a just and fair manner. Encourage students to maintain standards of classroom behavior.Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the technology education program of the school to ensure the school community can take full advantage of available resources.
- Creativity around the content to propose new and exciting technology integration and instruction for all students.
- Recommend the purchase of material for the curriculum developed and/or to improve and enhance the technology instruction.
- Maintain an inventory of computer hardware, software, cameras, robotics kids, etc. and make recommendations for replacement or upgrade when necessary.
- Create an engaging classroom environment favorable to student learning and personal growth.
- Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned work day.
- Communicate clearly in verbal and written formats with students, parents, and teammates.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Make provision for being available to students and parents for education related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms.
- Strive to maintain and improve professional competence.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Poses or be eligible to receive Colorado Teaching License with appropriate endorsement.
- Experience with video and music production, robotics, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D printing, and design software (AutoCad/Sketch-up) preferred.
- Candidate must be endorsed in the content area, passed the PLACE or Praxis test in the content area, and/or have 36semester credits in the content area to meet “in-field” status.
- Transcripts required.
- Criminal background check and District fingerprinting required.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
