Harrison's is seeking a qualified full-time clothing Tailor/Seamstress at our Mauldin store. Experience working on police/military uniforms is a plus.

A qualified candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the following:

Skills:

- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong sewing skills and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Proficient with commercial sewing machines, Blindstitch Machine, and a Serger
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines

Duties:

• Hemming Pants
• Sewing Patches onto garments to include shirts, jackets, hats, etc.
• Add braid to garments
• Be able to perform Fittings
• Tailor Shirts, Pants, Dress Coats as requested
• Perform alterations and repairs on various types of clothing and fabrics
• Measure, cut, and sew fabric according to customer specifications
• Use sewing machines, sergers, and other tools and equipment to complete tasks
• Inventory essential materials (ie thread) and communicate needs to store manager
• Ensure machines and tools are kept in good working order
• Ensure quality and accuracy of finished products
• Collaborate with customers and account managers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
