In-School Suspension

• Supports and educates teachers, staff and administration and works cooperatively with the team in the discipline model.  Promotion of the process includes the following:  helping to identify a student's individual needs and coordinatoring supportive assistance for him/her at school; developing Behavior Plans and a variety of forms to assist students in the recovery process; working closely with students in the Recovery Room; maintaining student Recovery Files including correspondence with staff and documentation of interactions with student; communicating effectively with teachers, staff and students; organizing and providing reports to the Administration on a regular basis.
• Develop a positive working relationship with students and staff at school.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential student information.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 60 college credit hours
