Position Summary:

Cocktail Market Manager (CMM) reports directly into Regional Sales Manager with dotted line to VP of National Sales and is responsible for driving new account activations for assigned region for SunnyD Cocktails, Daily’s Mixers and RTD’s with primary focus on SunnyD Cocktails. CMM will be responsible for cultivating relationships with on-premise accounts and leveraging relationships with buyers and distributors to drive new activations while maintaining current ones. CMM will visit minimum of 10 accounts per day 4 days a week while also working directly with distributors to ensure accounts have necessary POS to drive sales. CMM will also be responsible to seek out key local events and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy. This would also include execution of national initiatives in your local market.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

· Strong salesmanship to manage and sell accounts to drive sustainable sales growth.

· Ability to engage with distributors and accounts to build strong partnerships that are mutually beneficial.

· Provide market and competitive brand updates to the RSM and VP to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.

· Survey market to ensure distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs and more are executed to standard.

· Maintain calendar of activities and promotions and ensure distributor and third-party agencies have successful communications.

· Provide bi-weekly market activity report to RSM. Include list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, special projects and/or any needs.

· Able to work under minimal supervision, exercises a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.

· Interact with distributors on a consistent basis at district manager and sales consultant level and attend meetings as necessary.

Position Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.

· Would like 2 years’ experience in the adult beverage industry but not necessary.

· Experience in customer/account management.

· Sales background with an excellent understanding of distributor processes.

· Strong influencing skills in Distributor/Relationship Management.

· High-energy, enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-disciplined, competitive, assertive, and goal-oriented self-starter with the desire to succeed.

· Takes personal responsibility for decisions, delivering results and exceeding expectations.

· Be able to work independently and also collaboratively with the rest of the sales and marketing teams to accomplish goals.

· Ability to travel up to 75%.
