Position: Middle School Girls Volleyball Coach

Season Duration: July 29th - October 5th, 2024

Location: Yuma, AZ (Games are all away)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the middle school girls volleyball team at Harvest Preparatory Academy.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practices according to the schedule provided.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance players' skills and teamwork.
• Attend all scheduled games and tournaments, providing guidance and support to players during competitions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members during practices and games.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship and personal growth.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and administrators to address any concerns and ensure effective communication.
• Uphold the values and mission of Harvest Preparatory Academy both on and off the court.

Requirements:

• Previous experience coaching volleyball, preferably at the middle school level.
• Knowledge of volleyball rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to travel to Phoenix during the week for games.
• Willingness to obtain coaching certification by the end of June 2024.
• Commitment to attending all practices, games, and team events as scheduled.
• Passion for working with middle school students and promoting character development through athletics.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card (We can help you to apply)

Schedule:

• Practices: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm (Wednesday extended practice: 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm)
• Games: Weekday evenings (times may vary)

Stipend: $1,000
