**Traveling Superintendent**
**Job Summary:**
Join our team as a Traveling Superintendent and play a crucial role in overseeing ground-up commercial construction projects of $10MM or more from start to finish throughout the Midwest. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites and lead a team towards project success.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, focusing on safety, quality control, and adherence to project timelines
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera to track project progress and communicate with stakeholders
- Supervise construction site activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
- Oversee subcontractors and coordinate their work to maintain project efficiency
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance
- Collaborate with Project Manager to address any issues that may arise during construction
- Implement effective strategies for optimizing project workflow and resource utilization
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects, preferably in large ground-up builds
- Familiarity with Construction management software like ProCore, HeavyBid, or similar tools
- Strong background in quality control processes and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, subcontractors, and clients effectively
