Job Description: As a Personal Injury Attorney at Hastings Cohan & Walsh, LLP you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and premises liability cases. You will work closely with clients, negotiate with insurance companies, and represent clients in court when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support personal injury claims.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
