Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of a Front of House (FOH) Employee is to deliver food and beverage to guests in a professional manner while always maintaining “True and Sincere” hospitality; either directly or by facilitating other members of the service staff. FOH employees should follow Hatch standards and policies that exemplify the company's values in the day-to-day execution of the job while constantly providing prompt, courteous, enthusiastic and genuine service. In addition, they must always follow all procedures for safety and cleanliness, as well as abide by all state and local liquor laws.

Essential skills of Front of House employees include but are not limited to the following:

• Upbeat and welcoming personality with an optimistic and ambitious mindset.
• Must exhibit an enthusiastic attitude toward customer service and have a genuine interest in hospitality.
• Be able to work both effectively as part of a team and also unsupervised.
• Be able to easily communicate in a favorable and positive way with both guests and employees.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi‐task and maximize efficiency in a fast pace environment.
• Professionalism in both appearance and fulfilling work duties.
• Honesty and integrity is a must, as well as committing to company values.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make customers feel welcomed and taken care of at all times.

Essential duties and responsibilities of Front of House employees include but are not limited to the following:

• Shows up to all shifts in proper uniform ready to work at scheduled time. Attendance must be regular and consistent.
• Presents themselves professionally in appearance: by always being well groomed and in a clean uniform.
• Follows all steps of service designated to the position working at all times.
• Follows all policies and procedures in bothposition specific manuals and companywide Code of Conduct.
• Attends all mandatory meetings - as well as completes all training and testing.
• Must maintain detailed knowledge of all menus and have the ability to describe items and suggest upsells to guests.
• Complete all tasks assigned by management on a daily basis, including any pre‐opening and closing tasks.

Required Abilities:

• Have the ability to stand on feet for long periods time, at least 8 hours continuously.
• Must be able to use abdominal and lower back muscles continuously, as well as lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as: climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, squatting, and pushing.
• Must have availability to work some weekdays and weekend shifts, as well as holidays.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions.
• Must be flexible and willing to cross train or work other Front of House positions.
