Within this role, you will be able to learn how a wholesale agency works. You will regularly communicate with high-end buyers and be able to interact with fashion brands (our clients). During Market week, you will experience the rush and excitement of the agency, while working with each client and seeing their products in person. You will also work on special projects throughout the internship that impact the brand in a major way. A mentor will be assigned at the beginning of the internship, which will entail regular meetings and guidance throughout your term. In all, this opportunity will help to grow professional sales and marketing skills in an exponential way.

The wholesale sales and PR intern will be working directly with the founder of the agency and the brand as well as the managing team. Tasks include assisting with a mix of digital and in person wholesale sales market as well as manage agency's social media and partake in day to day PR tasks. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to learn about the inner workings of a fashion agency - sales, e-commerce, buying, press, and merchandising. (This is an unpaid/for school credit internship).

Responsibilities

• Mandatory two week in-person availability for the Market period
• Communicate in professional and polite language when interacting with clients and buyers
• Maintain and post to all platforms of social media regularly
• Email and send regular outreach messages
• Post and organize Shopify accounts
• Continue to aid with our rebranding process

Qualifications

• Based in New York or are able to commute to New York during Market
• Experience with Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Gmail, Canva, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Shopify
• Interest in fashion, marketing, and sales
