About Haven Café: Haven Café is a new and vibrant café in South Philadelphia, dedicated to providing exceptional coffee, delicious pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere for our loving and loyal customers and friends.

Job Summary: Our goal is to bring in an operational partner who loves service and the café environment, while improving everyday functionality as we grow. We seek an energetic Operational Partner to streamline daily operations, manage daily activities, ensure high-quality food, coffee and service, and foster a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Develop and implement efficient processes.
• Oversee inventory and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage staff scheduling.

Store Management:

• Supervise daily activities and train staff.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback.
• Maintain a welcoming and clean café environment.

Coffee Expertise:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
• Educate staff and customers on coffee knowledge.

Customer Engagement:

• Build/ retain positive relationships with customers.
• Promote and help come up with events and initiatives to drive business growth.
• Engage with the local community.

Team Leadership:

• Lead by example with a positive attitude.
• Conduct team meetings and training.
• Foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in café or restaurant management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Passion for customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Energetic and outgoing personality.
