This candidate will assist with the receiving and initial in-house assembly and
testing of commercial audio-visual systems before their delivery and installation
by our field teams. This candidate will occasionally travel on-site to assist the
installation teams. The position will include but not necessarily be limited to the
following ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Staging:
Assist with aspects of staging projects from conception to delivery.
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure client requests are properly
executed and timelines are achieved.
Perform in-house rack fabrication to company and industry standards.
Test products.
Warehousing:
Receive and process incoming deliveries. Organize products and materials.
according to warehouse plans and/or project specifications.
Complete requests to process return shipments in a timely and efficient
manner.
Ensure warehouse facility remains clean and safe.
Installation (Occasional):
Paid travel to job sites in the Philadelphia Tri-state area.
Cable pulling/running.
Assistance with the installation of ceiling and/or wall-mounted equipment.
Skills to have or be willing to learn:
Ability to correctly read & interpret AV and Construction schematics.
Ability to perform minor DSP/Control System changes & uploads.
Ability to troubleshoot AV systems.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Competency with products such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, Shure, and Biamp.
