The position is permanent full-time, paid an hourly wage, and
eligible for overtime. The role includes daily travel to client sites, vendor training,
etc. A company vehicle is provided for all travel and all business travel-related
expenses are covered. Travel is mostly local to the PA, NY, NJ, MD, and DE regions but may
also occasionally include the rest of the US.
The commissioning Installer will have 3 years of hands-on field experience with
large-scale commercial AV installation and 1 years of experience as a
commissioning technician. They will have practical, hands-on knowledge and
experience with all aspects of commercial audio-visual integration, including
working within the scope of commercial construction projects, including
mechanical fastening and mounting, infrastructure cabling, cable termination,
enterprise networking, current audio-visual signal processing, and delivery
methodologies, control protocols, etc.
The commissioning Installer will be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot
and diagnose all related systems. They will be able to demonstrate good
leadership, communication (both written and verbal), computer, and customer
relationship skills. They must be able to clear both criminal and driving
background checks must have a valid driver’s license.
Systems Commissioning – For complex systems or systems requiring high level
tuning expertise, the commissioning Installer will be the personnel typically
assigned to this task. They must therefore maintain a good working knowledge
and facility with all applicable equipment and software, including DSPs, matrices,
control processors, streaming servers, digital signage servers, sound masking
processors, video surveillance servers, etc. This may include the maintenance of
various industry and manufacturer’s certifications.
Systems Installation – The commissioning Installer will be expected to be willing to
conduct all aspects of an installation including pulling and terminating cabling,
mounting hardware, modifying furniture, assembling and wiring racks, etc.
whenever required and when not otherwise delegated to other integration team
members.

Compensation and Benefits: Starting at $30.00, depending upon skills and
experience, and is eligible for overtime pay. Benefits include medical and dental
insurance (50%), LTD insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, paid vacation, paidpersonal/sick time, and work vehicle, including fuel and maintenance costs.
