WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE As a Director, Global Total Rewards on the tms People Team, you will be responsible for all Reward program strategy and execution. This role ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. This includes managing the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Additionally, this role will develop and manage compensation and benefits related surveys, budgets, job evaluation, salary structure maintenance, base pay administration, incentive plan analysis and administration. This role provides a great opportunity to support the business units and their objectives relative to talent attraction and retention and overall employee engagement. What You Will Bring To The Organization
Develop and implement total rewards strategies for tms; ensure the company is successful in attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent. Regularly benchmark all areas to continuously elevate, evolve, and improve the function and its offerings.
Monitor and evaluate the company’s reward programs to ensure they meet evolving business need, are legally compliant and market competitive.
Create and assess compensation structures, salary ranges, job families, and position levels
Enhance and maintain compensation and benefit tools to ensure the employee and manager experience is optimized.
Provide guidance to People Partners and People Managers on pay decisions, pay equity and guideline interpretation, including the design of creative solutions for specific compensation and benefit challenges
Proactively seek external market insights to understand compensation and benefit market trends, practices and costs
Analyze external market data and prepare survey submissions when needed to ensure the company is competitive within the marketplace
Coordinate routine business reviews with key vendor partners to ensure alignment with agreed upon service levels, overall program objectives and planned enhancements
Build successful relationships with key partners by clearly understanding current business needs/outcomes, acting as a trusted advisor, and understanding their views on reward opportunities
Evaluate new and changing roles to determine proper levelling and fit within the organization
Deeply analyze current benefit program usage, coverage, feedback, and opportunities and provide recommendations on program enhancements and cost efficiency
Manage and execute the overall annual merit, bonus and LTIP programs
Develop and manage compensation and benefits budgets
Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support compensation and benefit related analysis
Research and resolve complex compensation and benefit matters
Lead complex ad hoc projects as requested
Maintain appropriate confidentiality in all aspects
Skills And Experience We Would Like You To Have
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required
10 years of compensation& benefits administration experience
