This position is responsible for the overall oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and responsible for managing the general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax planning functions of the Bank.
College degree in Accounting and 5-7 years prior work experience in accounting. CPA and banking experience preferred, 5 years of previous supervisory experience, working knowledge of automated financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting systems. Strong oral and written communication skills; including proficiency in leading presentations. Strong computer skills; working knowledge of all common Office applications (i.e. Word & Excel). SQL experience preferred. Good organizational and administrative skills for the coordination of institution wide initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to comply with attendance requirements. Strong team player. Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
