Overview:

Hawaii Stage and Light Rental Company is seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to join our team. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless event execution.
• Utilize or be willing to learn drafting software (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360).
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using company inventory management software.
• Create quotes and pricing estimates for clients.
• Manage and maintain client relationships with Hawaii Stage & Lighting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Generate quotes, pull sheets, and project budgets.
• Respond promptly to clients, including outside regular office hours.
• Lead event installations, including hands-on work with technical equipment.
• Have a basic understanding of staging, lighting, rigging, scenery, show execution, and strike processes.
• Possess extensive practical knowledge in scenic production or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead a team of carpenters.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Required)
• Project Management: 1 year (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
