School ProfileKapa'a Middle School (KMS) is a public school located on the east side of Kaua'i. It is situated atop a plateau on an 18-acre parcel of land. The school overlooks the southern end of Kapa'a town and is bordered by agricultural/residential lands.The school services students living from the boundaries of the Wailua River Bridge, the Kawaihau District and to the Hanalei District (end of the road in Haena).A total of five elementary schools feed into KMS: King Kaumuali'i, Kapa'a Elementary and Wilcox students enter in 6th grade; and Hanalei and Kilauea students enter in 6th or 7th grade.There are approximately 620 students that attend KMS.Mission & Vision Mission StatementKapa'a Middle School's Mission is to build on the values of Compassion (Kupono), Character (Kupa'a) and Confidence (Kulia)Vision StatementKapa'a Middle School is a school community that promotes the values of Compassion (Kupono), Character (Kupa'a) and Confidence (Kulia).
