Position SummaryReporting to the Manager, Existing Customer Marketing & Retail Partnerships, the Coordinator for Card and Travel Products is responsible for executing the marketing for the HawaiianMiles Merchant Program. This includes being a liaison between internal teams and external partners to launch email, web, and social media marketing. The coordinator will also be responsible for responding to HawaiianMiles member and partner inquiries. This position is fast paced and offers the opportunity to learn about the HawaiianMiles program while making a positive impact to local business partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Become the Subject matter expert in the HawaiianMiles Loyalty and Merchant programs to successfully execute promotions and marketing.
  • Responsible for coordinating and executing marketing promotions and initiatives associated with merchant program partnerships, on time and on brand as designed
  • Organization and management of marketing timelines with an emphasis on managing the process of approvals, requirements, and deadlines with internal teams and external partners, including bank and retail partners
  • Coordinate collection of marketing assets from partners and acquire HA brand approval as needed
  • Processing of monthly HawaiianMiles partner mileage rewards files
  • Support management of comprehensive merchant program marketing calendar by monitoring due dates, campaign conflicts, channel distributions, etc. to ensure optimal marketing execution efficiencies
  • Support partnership retention by managing promotion portfolios for marquee partners and tracking partner exposure via a marketing placement report
  • Assist team with preparation of presentations for internal business updates and external partnership meetings
  • Manage merchant program customer service support by working with partners, merchant program vendor, and HA customer contacts team to resolve cases in a timely manner
  • Update and maintain merchant program partnerships’ terms and conditions, FAQs, and training materials, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and external partners as needed
  • Provide general program administrative support, including but not limited to processing payments and invoices
  • Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Critical thinking and investigative skills for researching issues and problem solving
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); must be able to effectively communicate with internal departments and external customers / business partners
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
  • Ability to learn and use new database and software platforms to support program servicing
  • Proficient in MS applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $49,000 - $62,000.Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of professional work experience, preferably in airline, loyalty, marketing, or travel related industry
  • Experience with Salesforce Account management software
  • Familiarity with airline systems (e.g., Amadeus) and marketing database/CRMs
  • Business to business account management experience
  • Experience with project and task management software (e.g. Asana, Basecamp)
  • Experience in reporting metrics and KPIs
