$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/year
DescriptionAn Account Manager for Hawke’s branding division creates long-term relationships with our most important audience: our clients. A successful Account Manager possesses maturity, demonstrates strategic thinking, collaborates across the organizations and proactively offers solutions when challenges arise.
The Account Manager will report directly to the Head of Accounts to ensure all deliverables and processes are carried out in the best interests of our clients. You will have ownership of your assigned client accounts and foster the relationships and ultimately client retention. You will execute day-to-day management and operations of both retainer and project based work for your portfolio of clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Build long-lasting relationships with assigned accounts and internal departments to create an optimal client experience
  • Ensure the successful delivery of all project and retainer work according to established timelines
  • Contribute to, shepherd and ultimately deliver for clients: strategic decks, blogging, email marketing, video, social media, websites, etc.; and ensuring the highest quality of work reflects client tone and voice
  • Glean insights from client interactions and organizational data and track that against determined objectives to optimize and pivot strategic direction as needed in order to hit client goals
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with all employees and account teams to ensure top quality work is always delivered to clients
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for growth, suggest improvements to process flow as appropriate
  • Through ongoing interaction with the clients and collaboration with agency team members, identify additional opportunities to provide service and extend and expand the relationship within your accounts
QualificationsWHAT IS EXPECTED:
  • The ability to think quickly and strategically
  • A knack for staying organized and managing priorities across multiple clients
  • Learn, absorb, deliver and live the agencies’ proprietary frameworks
  • Balance following process with thinking outside the box in service of our clients
  • A high level of professionalism and presentation skills to interface with executives across all industries
  • Strong writing capabilities and communication skills
  • Extreme sense of proactivity and attention to detail
  • A high level of self-management and accountability; proven ability to own projects
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, and/or business
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Depth of experience and passion for all forms of digital content
  • Experience in client facing / client relationship building
  • Knowledge of content management systems, like Airtable, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
