Haws Corporation is Hiring a Customer Service Rep Near Sparks, NV

Job Functions:

Under general supervision of manager, handles and follows through on customer/representative requests for sales or product information via telephone and internet. Records order information into computer for customer through customer service excellence, while performing specific duties to collect and share information to meet customer needs.

Accountabilities:

  • Order Entry
  • Customer Inquiries
  • RSD and Rep Support
  • Intercompany Orders

Other Job Duties: 

  • Talks with customers by phone, fax or e-mail and receives orders for products. Provides guidance and assistance to customers regarding these orders.
  • Determine and calculate correct pricing.
  • Enters all product purchase orders and related information into the company computer system with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • May offer advice and suggestions about the various products offered. Experience with mechanical, plumbing, or manufactured products extremely helpful. 
  • Performs general clerical duties, maintains computer files, prepares reports, and keeps records.
  • Research and answers inquiries from customer, sales manager, or reps. Provides updates for customers as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking and distributing customer orders. Accepts and implements changes to customer orders. Communicates changes to appropriate departments.
  • Refers complaints of billing errors to appropriate departments for investigation. Follows up with rep or customer with result.
  • Must have good attendance and be available to assist the customer.
  • Follows up on any issues with customer(s), providing result(s) of solving issues.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the
  • English language fluently.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Office 365.

Language Skills:

Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Bi-lingual a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following activities:

  • Remain in a stationary position frequently on a daily basis.
  • Operate a computer for up to eight hours on daily basis.
  • Have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus to perform job functions and job duties.
  • Frequently move about or traverse office, warehouse and production environment on a daily basis.
  • Regularly carry, move, and transport objects or boxes up to 10 pounds and occasionally move, and transport objects or boxes up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls to perform job functions and job duties.
  • Occasionally required to obtain or move objects above head.

Work Environment:

Office environment. Onsite work and activities are required. Flexible work environment. Regular, reliable, predictable performance is needed.
