JOB SUMMARY

Performs inspections, checks, and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Knowledge of reading prints. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsible for performing inspection of finished products and properly maintaining equipment by performing the following duties.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Performs final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures.
• Documents all instances of rejected product or raw material problems in daily production report.
• Inspects incoming raw materials as materials are received.
• Documents appropriate information for quality inspection reports for each order.
• Creates and maintains current files for all quality related correspondence.
• Resolves customer complaints or problems in regard to rejected or non-conforming product.
• Reports any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.
• Suggests new testing or inspection methods to minimize inspection efforts required.
• Trains co-workers in quality control concepts as requested.
• Performs necessary maintenance of equipment as needed.
• Scan floor folders to project files
• Remains current on quality control practices and trends through publications, seminars, conferences and related trade shows.

Will be required to work closely with managers and supervisors in the oil flushing department which you may get messy. We have 24 oil flushers which will be performing hourly checks. Steel toe shoes are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
