Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Hayes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Lawrenceville. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports in a timely manner
• Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding balances
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate payment
• Work closely with the purchasing team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices
• Process and record employee expense reports in accordance with company policies
• Assist with month-end close process and provide support to the accounting team as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to improve and streamline accounts payable processes
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or an accounting-related role
• Knowledge of double-entry accounting principles preferred.
• Proficiency or experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Reynolds-Ignite, and Fuse5 preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
