Role Overview: As a Metrology Equipment Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art metrology systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement efforts. If you're passionate about precision, problem-solving, and pushing the boundaries of technology, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on a diverse range of metrology equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Dive into non-routine issues, conducting in-depth troubleshooting on laser, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and cooling systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with facilities, IT, equipment, production, and process teams to prioritize tasks and support seamless production moves.
Technical Leadership: Be a go-to resource for tool and maintenance system improvements, driving efficiency and excellence.
Certifications & Compliance: Maintain certifications related to metrology equipment, safety, quality, and 6S practices.
Reporting: Track daily activities, providing clear verbal and written updates.
Performance Optimization: Monitor tool performance and proactively address any non-conformance issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Experience with metrology or photo equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
