Having operated successfully for over 40 years this respected full-service Construction Company provides site development, project management, and cost control to the public and private sectors. They have a background covering a wide range of residential, commercial, public, institutional, and infrastructure building projects throughout all of New York City five boroughs.
Your new role
In this role as an Assistant Project Manager (APM), you will work closely with the clients, architects, engineer and colleagues on budget management, development and management of all project documentation including RFPs and change orders, cost control and oversight of site staff.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position as an Assistant Project Manager (APM), you should have a bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or Architecture and have at least 2 years' construction experience. You will be working across a range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments so familiarity with as many of these sectors as possible is preferred.
Alongside your technical background they are looking for someone with a stable work history that is looking to build a long-term career. This GC looks to develop people long term rather than make project specific hires. Based out of Brooklyn, this is an ideal role for someone based out of Queens, Brooklyn, potentially Long Island, or someone looking to commute out of Manhattan.
