Hays is Hiring a Refresh Tech Near Boston, MA

Refresh Tech – Contract or CTP – Boston, MA – $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Refresh Tech in Boston, MA.

Role Description

Migrate all desktop and laptops in the environment to Windows 11 over a 24-month period. Client will leverage the existing Hardware Refresh Team to refresh and upgrade 1000 systems to Windows 11 through steady state BAU process. The balance of remaining systems will be upgraded through adding technical staff to the existing Hardware Refresh Team. As part of this process, we will migrate systems to the new Microsoft Defender and BitLocker application tools. A new Build Image will be created on the Windows 11 O/S platform to include these new application tools.

Skills & Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience with laptop refresh and upgrades

- Experience with Microsoft and Windows products

- Experience with desktop hardware and peripherals, imaging tools, network configurations, and software installation and configuration
