Senior Product Owner – Permanant – Melbourne, FL – $100,000 - $110,000

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Owner in Melbourne, FL.

Role Description

• Manage and prioritize product backlog

• Working closely with software development teams to structure backlog user stories and work toward viable product

• Working with various stakeholders to gather requirements including the executive team

• Document detailed requirements for the development team (user stories)

• Provide progress updates and demos to stakeholders and executives

• Expected to attend Product Owner training and acquire certification

Skills & Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner within an Agile environment

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate closely with them to identify and implement effective solutions.

• Strong documentation skills with the ability to create detailed reports, user stories and deliver compelling presentations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent insurance industry experience.

• Previous insurance experience.
