SQL Database Engineer – Permanent – Winter Garden, FL – $90,000 - $110,000.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a SQL Database Engineer in Winter Garden, FL.

Role Description

This role is pivotal in building, managing, and optimizing CC's enterprise data architecture to support our dynamic business needs.

• Collaborate with software and analytics teams to design and implement robust database architectures and applications.

• Enhance database performance and automate processes for efficiency.

• Set and maintain high standards for database development practices.

• Modernize our data warehouse to support reliable, consistent data access.

• Develop custom data pipelines for ETL processes.

• Ensure the stability and performance of SQL Server environments (including SSIS/SSRS/MDS).

• Document configurations, test scripts, and functional specifications for integrations and reporting.

Skills & Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in SQL Server database development and data warehouse design.

• A strong foundation in data warehousing principles and data analytics.

• Familiarity with SQL Server, cloud technologies, microservice architecture, and Azure DevOps or Jira

• Understanding of Git and GitHub for code management.

• Proficiency in Azure data services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory). Willingness to learn.

• Experience with Red Gate tools (SQL Source Control, SQL Compare).
